Baseline ICT (Digital Literacy) Programme
The Baseline ICT (Digital Literacy) Programme aims to equip our students with competencies to create, connect and curate information in the digital environment. It also serves to help students develop essential values and attitudes to navigate the Web and participate productively in a digitally connected environment.
The programme is integrated with the Instructional Programme (IP). This provides meaningful contexts for their ICT learning and application, as well as opportunities for deepening of students’ learning in their respective IP areas.

To cultivate responsible digital learners, Hong Wen’s Cyberwellness programme seeks to increase students’ awareness of appropriate online behaviour and of how to protect oneself in cyberspace. We are aligned to MOE’s Cyberwellness Framework and adopts the Sense-Think-Act approach in bringing across Cyberwellness messages to our students.
The Infocomm Club sets out to empower our members with the 21st century ICT skills in digital media and coding in a fun and meaningful way. Members work together to enhance their ICT skills in the learner-centric and collaborative learning environment. With their skills in coding, photography and photo-editing, the members collaborate on projects to create games and take photographs. Members are also engaged in cyber-wellness activities to equip them with competencies and sound values so as to act responsibly in cyber space.
