Home-Based Learning @ Hong Wen School
This page serves to inform HWS parents and pupils on all matters relating to the HBL activities for the first 4 weeks of Term 3 2020.
With the end of the Circuit Breaker period on 1 June 2020, we will progressively bring pupils back to school from 2 June 2020 (Term 3), in a careful and safe manner.
For a start, Primary 6 pupils will attend school daily from Mondays to Fridays. Primary 1 to 5 pupils will rotate weekly between Home-Based Learning (HBL) and returning to school for lessons. Please refer to the table below for the weekly rotation schedule.
|T3W1||Primary 4, 5, 6||Primary 1, 2, 3|
|T3W2||Primary 1, 2, 3, 6||Primary 4, 5|
|T3W3||Primary 4, 5, 6||Primary 1, 2, 3|
|T3W4||Primary 1, 2, 3, 6||Primary 4, 5|
From Term 3 Week 5, we will work towards bringing all pupils back to school daily, if the situation permits. MOE will monitor the situation closely and we will inform all parents in due course.
HBL offers opportunities for your child to engage in self-directed learning. It is not confined to E-learning and may include offline assignments or readings from textbooks. During HBL, your child determines his/her own pace of learning and takes charge of the learning environment.
